Air Film Turntables

The air film turntable is an available option as part of the range of vehicle access and industrial turntables offered by BTI.

Hovair air film turntables are low profile steel structures that use air bearings evenly distributed around the turntable, either up-blowing or down-blowing, to support the load. Air bearing turntables are available as manual rotation or with either air or electric drive systems and have low maintenance requirements.

Typically an air film turntable will be preferred over a mechanical turntable where a lower profile is required, for instance where there is a suspended slab and the revolve is to be installed into an upper floor with a room below.
